In Matthew 20:1-16 Jesus tells a parable of labourers who work for different lengths of time throughout a day but all receive the same pay. They were all given more than they were due but many grumbled about it not feeling fair. Comparison is the thief of joy and seeing what others have can fill us with bitterness or discouragement. Adjusting our position can help us see that we are blessed beyond measure because of God's generosity
