1.) Is there anything I can do that Jesus won't forgive?

8 “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, 9 but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 11 And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” (Lk 12:8–12 ESV). 2.) How can God still love me after all of the horrible things I have done?

4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Tt 3:4–7, ESV)

 

He is GOOD & He WANTS TO.

 

Examples of people he’s forgiven: Paul a blasphemer and a murder (1 Tim 1:12). The thief on the cross (Luke 12:39-43). The woman caught in adultery. (John 8:1-11) Sinful woman rejected by the religious elite. (Luke 12:36-50)

 

3.) Why can some people who love God overcome addiction while others can't shake it?

it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. 19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, (Heb 6:18–20 ESV)

We have the privilege of receiving TASTES of powers to the age to come.

 

Freedom from addiction. 

Repent: Turn from sin to God.

Believe: Believe that God is good and He loves you.

Confess: Admit your sin to God and others.

Community: Find others to love you and pray with/for you.
