Jacob (Jake) Teeny is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, specializing in the study of consumer behavior. For years, he has researched the psychological factors that increase consumers’ word of mouth, the elements that make advertising more or less persuasive, and the inferential processes that shape the way consumers perceive themselves and others.
