We all know that the issue of immigration has been a bone of contention in the American political landscape. Interestingly, the controversy seems not to be fading away soon. Remember Texas? When Joe Biden asked them to tear down the wall at their border, Texas Governor Abbott outrightly refused. Instead, he chose to reinforce the wall. To this, Biden threatened to defederalize the National Guard in Texas if the Governor did not obey his commands.

However, the anti-immigration narrative reverberates not only in Texas but also in other states. 25 states, led by Republican governors, have stood by Governor Abbott in defending their constitutional rights against Biden's immigration policies. In a shocking twist, even states like Florida and Alaska have joined the cause, all chanting 'America first!' So what does this imply? Could we be headed towards a nationwide crisis over immigration?

The division seems intense. On one hand, we have Democrat states advocating for unlimited immigration, a full embrace of the woke culture, and LGBT rights. On the other hand, we have Texas and 25 other states opposing this narrative, advocating for border protection and stricter immigration policies. Is it now safe to say that the United States of America we once knew is endangered and might just turn into the Divided States of America?
