We rejoin our heroes as they struggle to understand the situation they have gotten themselves into. Do they value their lives so little that there was no question when a stranger asked them to follow him, for coin, to destroy a vast evil power! He undoubtedly ushers them towards their peril. Have they doomed themselves by agreeing to vanquish this vile threat? After a disturbed slumber, regret starts to fill their hearts as they find themselves, not lost, but rather -- oblivious as to where they now find themselves. The burning desire to return home is extinguished as the darkness swallows them. They must now prepare themselves as legions of horrors and creatures of the night seek to taste of their blood and devour their flesh.
