Ignorance Plays a Large Part in Suffering

In answering the tough question of why bad things happen to good people,
a lack of knowledge is a major reason for human suffering. In other words, what you don’t know can actually hurt you. It’s by the knowledge of the truth that we escape the corruption of the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).  So we can see that because some people don’t know the word of God and his promises, they don’t have the knowledge, therefore they suffer in this life because of it.  We have to admit that God is not the causer of this kind of suffering. Lack of knowledge plays no favorites when it comes to the suffering question.
