Justin Reitman is the Co-Founder of Tech Shredders and Director of Business Development at Intek Leasing in Roseland, NJ. He is a former lawyer who took the long path to working in the family business. His entrepreneurship journey started in a law school classroom of all places, where he developed note taking software. A few years after law school, he joined Caviar as an early employee, helping the food delivery app grow their New York market and acquisition to Square. In 2015, after a brief stint with his own food delivery app, he decided to join the family at Intek.
Justin is the second generation to work in the business, joining his brother Adam and father Billy who started Intek in 1986. Intek provides truck financing and equipment leasing programs to small and medium businesses. Many of the industries they serve work with highly specialized vehicles like heavy duty tow trucks, car carriers, mobile shredding trucks, and tri-axel dump trucks. After successfully launching in 2005 and selling in 2018 “SafeShredding” (a mobile paper shredding company), Justin and Adam launched Tech Shredders, a hard drive shredding and electronic recycling service.
Justin currently splits his time between Intek and Tech Shredders, focusing on sales and business development at both. Intek has given Justin and his family the opportunity to enter new markets and expand their business beyond just leasing more trucks.
