A Case for Dr. Morelle - Alarm Call

The Room Service Waiter of the Wigmore Hotel is bringing breakfast to Lady Portlock's room. He mistakenly goes into Room 24, which is actually Baroness Beauville's room. Believing the lady is still asleep, he sets down the tray, draws the curtains, and takes another look at who he believes to be Lady Portlock. He is shocked to discover that she is not asleep, but has been deceased for some time. Meanwhile, Dr. Morelle's former secretary, Miss Frail, who is currently working at the Wigmore Hotel, stops by Dr. Morelle's office to tell him about Baroness Beauville being found dead in her hotel room, and that the hotel assistant manager, Mr. Winter, wants the doctor to investigate her death, as discretely as possible.
