IT WASN’T ABOUT THE MANGER: A Christmas Story for all Year ’Round

This is one of two most blessed times of the year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  As important as the manger was, that was only the beginning of the mission He was on.  It wasn't about the manger, but about the cross that would redeem mankind. As such, God was actually the first to set the law of sowing and reaping in motion by sowing His own Son that He would reap many more sons and daughters.
