Mid-Session 31 Jan 20: ASX 200 follows Wall street higher

Local shares have followed the example set by their US peers overnight and moved higher on Friday. Investors have been encouraged by the assessment of the WHO which highlighted that Chinese authorities are managing the Coronavirus pandemic effectively.
