Market Close 3 Nov 16 - ASX 200 recovers early losses as US election remains in focus

Local shares recovered from a 28 point deficit at session lows , although investors remained focussed on US polling ahead of next weeks polling. Energy stocks recovered as oil rose in Asian trade. Healthcare was boosted by Mayne Pharma (MYX) which rose 8% after the FDA granted approval to market a generic drug in the US.
