Episode 518 - Return to Country

On this episode of The Halo Halo Podcast, Sigi and Jezzie welcome filmmaker, Eric Cervania to the virtual studios to discuss his short film, Return to Country. In this film, a young boy connects with his Filipino heritage through a facetime call with his Lolo and discovering the joy of giving through a balikbayan box. The film premiered on July 8th and recently the cast of the film received a Best Cast nomination at the Alternative Film Festival. Eric shares his journey into filmmaking, growing up in Oakville, his love with cinema and creating this special project.
