Market Close 23 Dec 2019: ASX extends losses as miners weigh

Aussie shares have fallen for a third consecutive session to start the holiday shortened week. The ASX 200 dropped 31 points or 0.46% to 6785 to close at session lows. Leading declines were heavyweights in the mining, health and banking spaces.
