We discuss the effectiveness of exposure response prevention (ERP), acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), and inference-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (ICBT). Dr. Abramowitz emphasizes that all three treatments have been proven effective, but the effectiveness varies for each approach. He also highlights the importance of a therapist and client believing in the treatment.
