If anyone could write a book about 'the power of conflict,' it's the host of TV's Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer. It's not that Jon Taffer goes looking for conflict but rather that he's not afraid of conflict when it is necessary. Indeed, conflict in everyday relationships is very common with most people avoiding it if they can. That's the problem according to Jon. Instead of avoiding conflicts, more people need to engage, take on the conflict and get to the root of it. Letting conflicts fester and linger only causes more pain and trouble in the long run. Think of addressing conflict like tearing off a band-aid, get it over with, out of the way and create an understanding. That's a thumbnail sketch of Jon Taffer's brilliant new book The Power of Conflict. Jon Taffer was our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022.
