Christian Ethics : Living Well (Part 2) | Term 2 2026 - Lesson 6 | Homosexuality and Transgenderism

“You shall be holy, for I am holy” (1 Pet 1:16). God calls His children to live lives of loving obedience to Him, to delight in the goodness and beauty of God’s moral standards which show the infinitely good moral character of God Himself. In a world that increasingly rejects Christian moral values there is an urgent need for the church to maintain and grow our understanding of biblical ethics. This class covers a broad range of ethical issues, seeking to provide answers and biblical wisdom to areas that appear ‘grey’. You will be equipped and encouraged to live this out in your daily life, that you may “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him; bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Col 1:10). The topics we will be exploring this term are health, suicide, alcohol and drugs, divorce and remarriage, birth control, pornography, homosexuality and financial and environmental stewardship.
