Episode # 905 - Problems With The Educational System In The United States

Once again, Father Thomas Koys is here on the show along with Christina and Tony and continues his discussion from last week, dealing with secularization and not only how we are in society now, but where in history did we as a nation lead toward this in the times now.  One area that comes to mind is history involving France and the Catholic Church, as well as Mexico dealing with the same thing, resulting in Religious Freedom being made/brought/put into effect in the United States.  This historical discussion leads to the primary topic of the show today, problems with the Educational System the United States.  Joining us today with the show is a friend of Father Koys, Dr. Miriam Tierny who contributes to this discussion on the educational system.  Providing clips to help with this discussion, Father Thomas Koys and Dr. Miriam Tierney discuss how not only the educational system has changed, but also the problems that it has created in terms of that after a person either graduates or not, the problems or situations of getting jobs for their future, which seems to have become a bit more difficult in terms of not only having or lack of education, but also who gets the job.  It also raises several questions regarding our current educational system, with Dr. Miriam Tierny and Father Koys try to answer for all in regards to our children's education.
