Gianni Grippo on drilling, countering the leg-lock meta, and the ideal competition routine

He's a multiple time Nogi World Champion at the Black Belt level, as well as one of the most experienced competitors on the scene today. On this week's episode Gianni shared some insights into his early training, rising through the ranks in the famed Renzo Gracie Academy, before furthering his training at the equally renowned Marcelo Garcia Academy. We had a great chat about his favourite training methods, how he develops his submission game, as well as how he has managed to keep great longevity in the sport. He also touched on some interesting topics such as sport psychology, and his future plans.
