This month we begin our discussion of My Sister, the Serial Killer , a juicy suspense thriller by Oyinkan Braithwaite, while fittingly sipping on The LadyKiller, a drink sweet enough to KILL. Set in Lagos, Nigeria, this is the story of sisters Korede, a nurse pre-occupied with both cleanliness and the handsome Dr. Tade, and Ayoola, Korede's younger sister who starts the book out having committed her third murder, though she claims it was self-defense. We divulge who we would bury a body for, and Emma's loneliness leaves her whispering to herself in her booth.
