Mexican Supreme Court Legalizes Abortion

The Mexican Supreme Court has recently attracted much attention as they’ve officially ruled to decriminalize abortion federally, finding that the current ruling regarding the procedure is unconstitutional. This progressive step has provided a strong base for abortion activists throughout the country, though not without contention in the population. Today we’ll be looking at how we got here, and what may happen next.
