Market Close 1 Sep 20: ASX suffers worst daily decline in a month

The Aussie market has suffered its worst declines in over a month with the ASX 200 tumbling 107 points or 1.8% to 5,953 on broad selling. Every sector closed in the red with financials, technology and consumer staples among the worst performers. Defensive names such as utilities and gold stocks were among the few winners.
