You Must Pray in Faith that God Knows the Situation Needing Your Prayers

MESSAGE SUMMARY: If you listen and commune with God in your prayers, he will tell you how and to whom you should direct your prayers. You must pray in faith that God knows what personal situation you or someone else has in their life; and He will direct your prayers for a situation or a person. In John 14:12-14, Jesus challenges us to” pray” and to “ask”: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.". Always pray and do not give up -- be persistent in your prayers. Paul gives you, in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-21, a focus and model for your prayers as you communicate with God in your personal relationship with Him: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil."

 

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Loneliness. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Presence. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
