Morning Report 14 Apr 22: ASX set for a positive start as Wall St advanced

Local shares are expected to start in positive territory as US sharemarkets advanced on Wednesday. Growth stocks rebounded, despite strong inflation data and a mixed bag of quarterly earnings. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index rose by 344 points or 1%. The S&P 500 index gained 1.1% and the Nasdaq index added 272 points or 2%.
