Market Close 14 May 18: Telstra shares drop 5% following a profit warning

Telstra shares dropped 5% on Monday after the telco warnings its full year earnings would be at the lower end of its guidance range. The local sharemarket though managed to finish firmer, helped by gains from the energy, mining & healthcare stocks.
