24 - Doing Your Own Research to Avoid Thinking

“I do my own research.”

“Do you have a lab? What method did you employ for your double-blind study? Can you reference the peer-reviewed papers you published?”

We usually mean that we watched something online, did a Google search, or found some people who agree with us. Although it’s not something new, it does more than cause us to be wrong; it also harms people.

While many of us yearn for truth and understanding, the systems we participate in often prevent us from attaining genuine freedom in our everyday lives.
