General Hospital just had Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) unknowingly doing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a substantial favor. Carly saves the life of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), who was at the receiving end of Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) gun, and in doing so, she might have inadvertently given her rival a significant advantage. 

Sonny is convinced that Dex is the informant working against him for the man who wants him dead. Sonny's accusations against Dex are based on evidence found by Brick (Stephen A. Smith), implicating Dex in a series of mob boss assassinations on the ABC soap opera. 

However, the payments to Dex are revealed to be from Michael Corinthos, in an attempt to protect Sonny from himself. This revelation leaves Sonny feeling betrayed by his adopted son and ex-wife, potentially shifting his perspective towards Nina. 

The episode ends with a suspenseful cliffhanger, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next turn of events in the General Hospital saga.
