Title : Worldliness
Text : 2 Timothy 3:4

To be worldly or worldly minded is by definition to be devoted in worldly interests as opposed to spiritual  affairs. The worldly person is 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 about the things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ who called us to 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒚 and 𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒆. According to 2Peter 1:3 and James 1:26  he is characterised by spiritual indifference, instability and is undisciplined. He is contaminated and rebelious to God. James 4:4 describes him as a friend of the world and an enemy to God. 

You are being called 𝑵𝒐𝒕 to love the world or anything in the world but 𝑻𝒐 𝑫𝒐 the good things that result from 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒅. We should obey God in deep reverence, shrinking back from 𝑨𝒍𝒍 that might displease Him. God is at work within you helping you want to obey Him then helping you to do what He wants. You are to live clean, innocent lives as 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn. Shine out 𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 like beacon lights holding out to them the word of lif. Base your happiness and your hope in Christ, live in harmony with one another.

CONCLUSION:

Jesus can make your public behaviour to be above criticism. 𝑰𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 him as your personal saviour he will make you to live with peace with everyone. He will 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 you to be overpowered by evil.

PRAYER:
