Fun Box Monster Podcast #91 : The Curse (1987)

The Curse is the story of a woman trying to keep her family together by marrying a man who is conservatively eighty years her senior. The son, played by a young and very unhappy Wil Wheaton, makes the crazy logic leap that the giant, veiny, glowing sphere that has skidded a half-mile across the family farm, might just be from space. The family remains unconvinced, even as their vegetables and livestock start to become infected by slimy space-testicle goop that seems to be causing both chicken and horse attacks. After a short time, the parents and evil step-brother are transformed into raving mad space monsters trying to kill Wil and his sister. Plus, there's a sub-plot about somebody scouting locations for a water reservoir!  Sounds great right? Well it is.
