Marla: Trans Representation in Theatre

Marla Alpert (she/they) is a transfem non-binary actor, singer, and lover of theatre. She started transitioning during the pandemic and advocates for better trans and LGBTQ+ representation in theatre. In this episode she covers life in theatre as it is today, and various roles that show some representation and others which are problematic. They also co-host a theatre podcast, Flop of the Heap and also co-host Transistance, a trans news show on Twitch.
