Market Close 1 May 20: ASX suffers worst daily decline in 5 weeks

The Aussie market has ended the week on a sour note with the ASX 200 slumping 276pts or 5% to 5,245 on Friday. Losses were widespread with only seven of the top 200 stocks improving. Losses were heaviest among energy, mining and the banks.
