Market Close 15 Aug 17: Market rises 0.5% adding to Monday’s 0.7% gain

The local share market has climbed higher for a second session with the ASX 200 rising 0.5% to 5,757. Telcos, IT and Utilities stocks were the standouts, while the Materials and Energy sectors were the clear laggards.
