It’s a known fact that marriages are full of challenges. However, what happens to a marriage when you or your spouse is in the military? Are there any unique aspects to such a marriage? On this episode my guest, Dr. Sarah Williams, discusses her journey as a military spouse and the challenges she faced when she needed a therapist, but couldn’t find one. 

Dr. Sarah Williams is a Licensed Psychotherapist and a walking billboard for career woman and Boss Mom goals! Known as the "Executive's Therapist", she is devoted to ending the Mental Health Stigma. Through her practice as a Licensed and Board Certified Psychotherapist and creator of her own TV show, "Dr. Sarah After Dark" that currently reaches 39 million households! you can also catch her consulting for major TV Networks or offering  Consulting, and Career Development to Professional Athletes, Celebrity, and Executive Clients. 

Although a "therapist to the stars", Dr. Sarah still maintains her private practice and specializes in providing services to Women of Color, Widows, the Military, and Parents of Children with Autism or other Special Needs. Further, Dr. Sarah paralleled her personal struggles as a young widow with attaining Doctoral education and Licensure with a specialty in Grief and Trauma.  

Dr. Sarah is a widow of a Navy Veteran and proud Mother to 14-year-old twins.
