Join me for a special episode where Ulrica shares some of her gems of wisdom and teachings that she has discovered through her own healing & awakening Journey. Ulrica and I met some years ago through our yoga community and it started a beautiful friendship that has nourished us thorough the years. She invited me to her studio in Sweden 2 years ago to offer Astrology and Yoga. The moment I landed there, she picked me up, and took care of me like a mother. I felt so held, seen, and supported. I was going through a huge transition in my life, and she met me in a way I so needed (but didn't know I did). There is a special place in my heart for this woman. Enjoy this nourishing episode.

Ulrica (@ulricaforrestyoga) began her yoga journey in 1998 with Ashtanga teacher Mark Blanchard, before becoming a devoted student at the original YogaWorks in Santa Monica and then with Bhakti yoga teacher Janet Stone. She's a mentor in Janet's 300h teacher training program, and has studied mantra and music with musicians Girish and Nat Kendall.
Before yoga became a full-time devotion, she spent almost two decades as a magazine writer and editor at Time Inc.'s flagship People magazine, at the time a part of the largest media corporation in the world. She quit in 2012 to move to Sweden, where she opened Pure Yoga Sweden (@pureyogasweden), which was featured as "The Prettiest Yoga Studio in the World" by Domino magazine (@dominomag).
Ulrica (E-RYT500) teaches a wide variety of courses and yoga classes, and her voice activation workshop was featured at Yoga Games in Stockholm this year. Her offerings are joyful experiences, in which she encourages you to connect with your own inner journey. Her intention in all her work is for you to feel embraced by the unconditional love that is our true nature.
These past three years, she's worked closely with Jeff Schub (@theurbanbarefoot) on emotional body work, with Andrew Genovese for dimensional breathwork, with Ashley Frost on NEO Emotional Release, and is currently studying Kundalini Yoga with Kia Miller. As a mother of three children and a householder yogi, she sees her devotion to the Eight-Limbed Path as a way to create community and raise our collective consciousness, so that we can finally connect with the guru that lies within.
