Hebrews 9:15-22 {Lesson 9/Day 6}

Muslims don’t believe that Jesus died on the cross. They believe that He only appeared to die and that He was rescued from death. They don’t understand why Christians think that Jesus had to die. The author of Hebrews explained why Jesus did: “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.” This is something no Muslim without the prompting of the Holy Spirit can grasp. We needed the death of Jesus. It wasn’t a tragic death. It wasn’t a senseless death. It was a heroic death. It was a reasoned death. The death of Christ fulfilled every covenant made between God and man since the first sin broke our relationship. The blood of Jesus poured out for us, reset everything. It made the Old Covenant obsolete and began the New. When you take communion next time, hold that cup representing the blood of Jesus more preciously than ever before and thank Him for purifying you through His blood. #lmccwomen #DwellingRichly #biblestudy
