LIVE & LOCAL - The Podcast: Episode Three Featuring – Indie Folk Sensation Favourite Kid, a dynamic sibling trio that has made a mark on Queensland’s indie-folk, alt-country, and pop music scene. It all began over five years ago when the older brother, Ethan, started writing and recording his songs as Aspy Jones. He then persuaded his sister, Jaimie, and brother, Saul, to join him. Favourite Kid celebrates neurodiversity and has performed at renowned venues and festivals, including the Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Mitchell Creek Rock ‘n’ Blues Fest, and the Caloundra Music Festival. Moreover, the songwriter, Ethan, was the first recipient of the Q Music Dalwood-Wylie Scholarship Award.
