Managing Emotions (Live Recording)

This is a live recording of a homily that Fr. Eric gave on June 23, 2024 at St. James in Colgan, Ontario. Fr. Eric reflects on the Gospel story of Jesus asleep in the boat (Mt 4:35-41) in speaking about how to manage our emotions, especially in the midst of our most difficult storms.

Fr. Eric uses two films as key examples. One film is "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" (2019) starring Tom Hanks about Fred Rogers and his popular children's television show, "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" (1968-2001). He also references a science-fiction film called "Edge of Tomorrow" (2014) starring Tom Cruise nad Emily Blunt. Major spoiler alert.
