Mid-Session 9 Nov 2021: ASX 200 slips as bank losses outweigh gains for miners and healthcare

The ASX 200 has struggled to take advantage of positive sentiment in offshore markets which saw US stocks move further into record territory overnight. At lunch the market is modestly lower, with miners and healthcare gaining ground, but not sufficiently to balance weakness for the banks.
