United States President Donald Trump said Oct. 19, 2025, that the United States could purchase Argentinian beef in an effort to bring down retail beef prices for American consumers. R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard doesn't think that's the answer, but he does think implementation of Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling-- MCOOL-- would make a difference.
