She’s Not Looking For You To Fix It. She Wants You To Listen.

Mate. I've been there. I've overlooked the issue and gone straight to the solution. Guess what? That's not what she's after.

 

This week we focus on:

The difference between responding and truly hearing your partner.

Why emotional availability matters in fatherhood and partnership.

The impact of your presence during early motherhood and her return to work.

How your solution-focused mindset might be creating distance, not connection.

This matters because:

When motherhood meets career, the emotional load can be overwhelming.

She’s not looking for a fix but she is looking for support.

When you listen with empathy, validate her struggle, and show up, you create space for her confidence to grow.

 

This week I want you to:

Learn to pause, listen and then offer solutions.

Validate her emotions, even if you don’t fully understand them

Respect the internal conflict of modern motherhood.

Make sure you don’t dismiss it Show emotional leadership by being present, not just physically but emotionally too
