S1E5 The Journey of Alexandra Stewart

Alexandra Stewart is a younger advisor wise beyond her years. In less than 10 years this Harford County native graduated from Towson University with a finance degree, completed an internship, joined a registered investment advisor (Buttonwood Financial Advisors), become an advisor, passed the CFP exam, and now is the acting president of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland. 

She’s unafraid of failure and because of that, she’s been a huge success for her.  She knows that there are few female advisors in the industry and fewer Certified Financial Planners.  That’s not slowing her down.  She is smart, thoughtful, insightful, and represents the future of financial services.  Thank goodness!
