US Close 27 July 17: Dow at record high- FED Res no change Aussie at 80 USC

US sharemarkets ended at record highs after investors digested the Federal Reserve decision and corporate earnings results as well as a weaker greenback and higher oil price. The Dow Jones rose by almost 98 points or 0.5% to a record high. The S&P 500 rose by less than 0.1% while the Nasdaq ended almost 11 points higher or 0.2% - both at record highs.
