In today's message we read one of Paul's most controversial statements. But don't get lost in the weeds or you will miss his main, big point. Paul is showing us we all start on a level playing field. Though the symptoms and expression of our sin may be different, we all sin the same. And only by fully recognizing we all start on a level playing field can we understand the gospel and find true compassion for one another that unifies us instead of dividing us.
