Drive Time Special : Seereer Radio’s coverage of Senegal’s Presidential Elections 2019 (Sunday, 24th February 2019)

Today is election day in Senegal, and following on our coverage of the Senegalese Presidential Elections 2019, Senior broadcaster Tamsier Joof hosts the Drive Time from our London studio, joined by our field journalists in Senegal - namely:

1. Macaire Ndiaye (DJ Mac) - our Senior reporter in Senegal - reporting from the Fatick region (home and constituency of incumbent President Macky Sall, candidate for (Yakaar) - (Alliance pour la République (APR)), as well as in Thies - constituency of main opposition candidate Idrissa Seck of the Rewmi Party;

2. Ousseynou Sow - reporting from Tambacounda which saw two deaths and several injured during the election campaign as covered on our previous Jeetaay programme;

3. Doudou Thiane - reporting from Jolof (Linguère), Louga region, department of Linguère));

4. Alex Sagna - reporting from Ziguinchor (constituency of opposition candidate Ousman Sonko of the Pastef Party);

5. Fatou Dieng - reporting from Grand Yoff, Dakar; and

6. Dame Ndiaye - reporting from the capital Dakar.
