US Market Close 28 Feb 17 - Investors more cautious ahead of Trump’s speech to congress

US sharemarkets rose on Monday with the Dow Jones recording its 12th day of gains - the longest winning streak since 1987. Investors look ahead to Tuesday's address by President Trump to a joint session of Congress. Trump told state Governors at the White House on Monday that he would talk about his plans for "big" spending on infrastructure at the joint session of Congress. Six of the major 11 S&P sectors were higher, led by financials and energy stocks. At the close of trade the Dow Jones index was up by 16 points or 0.1% to record highs. The S&P 500 index was up by 0.1% while the Nasdaq was up by almost 17 points or 0.3%.
