Talking Gender Roles, Raising Free Children, and more with Craig Pomranz

In this episode I interview singer, actor, and author Craig Pomranz. This is a first for the podcast! Until now none of my interviewees has been male. I started this podcast really wanting to give more women a voice. Then Craig approached me and when I read his book I was both charmed and sure that his was also a voice to amplify.

Craig has written a wonderful children’s book that tackles our stereotypes around gender roles. In a world where we see evidence of toxic masculinity every day paying attention to how we are engaging with our boys is critical to gender equality, ending the cycle of violence against women, and raising boys who grow up to truly respect women and themselves.

Too often the conversation about this happens only among women but that's not going to get it done. To change the dynamic we need men and women on board. If you have children, if you know children, this subject matters.
