Don’t ’De-Miracle-ise’ The Miracle - By Fr. Patrick Cahill

In today's Gospel regarding the five loaves and two fish that is used to feed 5000 people (Mark 6:34-44), Fr. Patrick explains that when we are used as instruments by God for Him to perform a miracle, the hard work is done by Him, not us and so all glory goes to Him, not us.  There is also a danger out there of trying to explain a genuine miracle away as something else, and so not giving the glory that is due to God.
