Season 2, Episode 8: Let it Rain (Most Bestest Storm Inspired Shows, Movies & Games)

This was a fun one. While the rain poured down in NSW, our hearts were filled with gumdrop smiles. The boys are back and discuss everything from Mario Kart-inspired Hot Wheels tracks to spider-saturated fields, from robotic dog robots to the world's largest wank. We also got inspired by the rain and talked about all our favourite 'wet' moments. Oh and Wife of the Pod Lindy chose our beer - and it was a good one. This show has it all!

We start with Feats of Manliness - T went campin', Adz got deep (read: psycho) and Phil did nothin. (00:19-11:28); Hero of the Week and we find it hard to decide between a dude who's organising the world's larges wank, the London town that rebuilt a pub or Dave Chapelle, so we at some point award it to the friendly clerk who helped Lindy pick a killer beer. And Phil wins Dad Joke of the Week (11:39-24:08); TBA Wrap includes chats on rain, lots of rain and also robot dog doctors, sweet Mario Kart toys and terrifying spiders - as well as an important discussion around what's scarier, a house-sized spider or a house filled with spiders (24:16-40:17); Hold my Beer is awesome. Lindy does the picking for us and picks a West Australian instant hit. It's the best thing to come out of WA since, well, ever (40:27-52:02); SPORTS IS BACK BABY! Adzo's Sportsdown is in full effect - NRL, AFL, UFC, PGA, NCAA - and Everton lost in the FA Cup so Phil is sulky (52:12-78:16); For some reason we thought we'd do some discussion around how we love rain, storms and water in general in our films, shows and video games and so we deep dive. Spoiler alert: Phil just talks about X-Men movies because they contain 'Storm' (78:22-104:53); Chappy Asks a valid question about Force powers to end the show (105:12-110:40)
