US Mid-Session 9 Mar 16: Weak China Data hit miner hard.

US sharemarkets pared substantial early losses on Tuesday but remained in negative territory. The fall in oil prices and concerns about global growth drove the weakness. The S&P energy sector led the declines down 3.2%. With just over an hour of trade, the Dow Jones was down by 47 points or 0.3% with the S&P 500 index down by 0.7%, while the Nasdaq fell by almost 30 points or 0.6%.
