Welcome to the Weekend Edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Secretary of State Blinken visited Israel and during his final press conference of the visit, he expressed a change in US support. He said that Israel no longer had the ‘credit’ for an all-out, no-holds-barred war. Now…the US expected certain limitations. This is from the same administration that botched the Afghan war and got us into the quagmire, in the Ukraine. So…what was Israel’s answer to this change in political support? Shortly after Blinken’s plane exited Israeli airspace, the ceasefire was over and it was business as usual for the Israeli army. It would appear the the Israelis will not be bullied or intimidated.
