Market Close 25 Oct 18: ASX 200 slumps 2.8% to a one year low

The local sharemarket has declined for a fifth straight session, with every sector hit hard amid a continued global market sell-off. The ASX 200 closed down 164 points or 2.8% to 5,664 and is now down 10% from the highs hit in August.
